Notional value

Notional value is the dollar amount represented by trading or a position, calculated as the number of contracts multiplied by their price. Because each contract is capped at $1, notional gives a dollar-denominated sense of scale that is comparable across markets. TickerTracker reports market and event activity in these dollar terms.
