Binary (Yes/No) contract
A binary contract is the basic building block of most prediction markets: a contract that pays a fixed $1 if a specific outcome occurs and nothing if it does not. A market question such as "Will the Fed cut rates in June?" is expressed as Yes/No binary contracts, and the price of the Yes contract is the market’s implied probability of that outcome.
